| I'm the violence in the pouring rain I'm a hurricane @mina |
Drip, drop, drip, drop, the water dribbled off of the side of the hut she sat under. A shower had passed through the area not long ago drenching the parched land. She, of course, had been caught unsuspecting by the sudden down pour and was now dripping wet. The copper hair hung in heavy strands around her pallid features clinging desperately to any bare skin it could find, and her clothing hung off the lithe form in a way that would draw more attention then she generally liked. She knew she no doubt looked like a drowned rat. An unbecoming look of even the most beautiful of ladies, and she needed to fix it before she met with her client today.
It had only been a week since she had landed in Westeros, but it felt like eons ago. The hustle and bustle of King's Landing was very different then Braavos. It was hard to miss the fracture between people not to mention the palpable tension between the royals and the religious. Had the whole continent gone nuts in the short time she had been away? Had it ever been sane? She couldn't remember. What little she recalled from her childhood had been sheltered away in the north playing with her brothers and friends never knowing the wrath of the outside world. 'Ah, sweet summer child,' she had often chided herself during her first few hours here. Perhaps there was still sliver of naivety still left in her jaded heart.
Even though she had her list, she still hadn't come into any luck. No one had any information on the people she was looking for. It could never be easy, could it? She knew that at least one if not two of the marks were in King's Landing, but the real question was where. The place was a sprawl of humans. It would be easy to disappear into the cracks here if you really wanted to. In fact, she had more then once taken advantage of the large city’s population to disappear into a crowd ensuring that her true identity was kept hidden. It would still raise suspicions for a woman or 'women' in her case to be asking around for the same person. She wasn't surprised someone had gotten wind of what she was. What had surprised her was the request that came with it. A meeting. With whom, she did not know yet, but she had come prepared in case it was someone seeking to kill her. She might have refused such a dangerous meeting if she had the money she needed already, but it wasn't so easy to make money. Westeros people seemed to like to keep their hands on their coins at all times.
Dragging her fingers through her hair, she tried to comb out the tangled mat of wet hair to no avail. It was clear she was going to have to go like this. Maybe whomever she was meeting wouldn’t care about her ragtag appearance. It wasn’t as if she was some lady. She was but a fallen lady who no longer had a right to claim her place back among her family. Some might pity her, but she had become something much more then the little girl from the North with a head full of rainbows and stars.
Cinching the girth on the ‘borrowed’ horse's saddle, she swung back up into the leather confines. There was still time to make it to their meeting point. One that had been agreed upon by both parties. Far from prying the eyes and ears of those in King’s Landing because everyone knew that secrets weren’t secrets for long behind the stone walls. It was easier for them to just meet among the trees who wouldn’t tell a soul no matter how far they bent and bowed.
It didn’t take her long to reach the meeting spot, and it seemed she was the first to arrive. For the best, she supposed. The little clearing between the trees was an easy place to get assassinated or jumped if this was a trap. Rather then hobbling her horse at the meeting spot, she tied it just on the other side just out of sight. If the person was coming from King’s landing, they wouldn’t notice the horse, however, it would be just her luck if they came from the other direction. It was a risk she would have to take as she settled back down into the clearing. Her slender form taking a post beneath a tree just within the cover of shadows. She tugged her hood to shield the wash of fiery hair and hide the pale features from view melting into the boughs of the trees.
This was not the first time she had waited like this. Unmoving, barely breathing, her gaze watching all the entrances to the little area. She could easily recall her first time trying to meld with he shadows. She had been younger, fidgety, and unable to master the art of patience. Luckily, it had only been training otherwise she might have been dead long ago. Now, she could sit unmoving for hours as she waiting for her mark, or in this case a potential client, to fall right into her lap. Hopefully, she wouldn’t have to wait too long...

Mina, Meeting, Atalya Snow lyrics @ Lana Del Rey. notes – words - 650ish
In the Land of Gods and Monsters I was an Angel
Revenge is a sure thing that Mina Tyrell is going reap and House Lannister will feel her wrath as a mother, and a caring parent to her son Horas Tyrell. Now, Mina knows that her son is quite horrible, but she loves him in every shape and form, so there is nothing the boy could do anger his mother to the point where it’s nonredeemable. Family is the one thing Mina cherishes most, especially when she recognizes someone as her family, yet it is different when she doesn’t as a said person won’t get the ample respect or the kind words, but more so neglect and venomous words. Cersei Lannister is probably another woman Mina Tyrell can identify with because both women loves their children to no end, but sadly Cersei has arrested and defiled the wrong child. Mina respects Cersei and her strength as a woman, but she has crossed boundaries by using Mina’s son as a move in her plan of vindication. A plot going against her family, the Tyrells, so she has already made enemies with Mina, but imprisoning her son just made everything even more personal.
Mina rode silently in her carriage as it drove her to the destination that was agreed on between both parties. A meeting of Mina’s own discretion and determination to pull through on regards of taking her son back from King’s Landing and back home where he belongs. Mina has heard many things about the faceless one, she has heard many tales and rumors of what they can do, though finding them was the hard part of getting in contact with them. Mina has many resources, both through the Tyrells and the Redwyne houses, so finding a Faceless one wasn’t going to be the issue, but if the faceless one was true to their name would be another issue. Everything Mina does is by her own thoughts and her own intelligence because she will never get things done if she allowed her husband to stroke his big ego, so Mina takes things into her own hands.
Paxton decided he didn’t want to help win their son back nor speak with the Lannisters to even negotiate ways to get him out of his imprisonment, so Mina was just as angry with Paxton as she is with Cersei. Although, that will be a manner she will attend to once she returns home with her son riding with her in the carriage. Mina expects Cersei to have eyes and ears everywhere, so Mina would have to be just as smart, which is why she is enlisting the help of the Faceless as she heard they can be anyone and everyone, so to Mina that is the perfect weapon to utilize. The horse came to a reeling stop and wasn’t long before the door was open for the Lady to step her way out. Mina elegantly stepped out the carriage in a soft, almost, pale green gown that hugged nicely on her figure, and simply word tannish colored sandals as she touched the earth. Mina grabbed the skirt of her gown as she walked her way over to the meeting stop and she wasn’t surprised as she saw someone already standing there, and a soft smile spreads upon Mina’s lips as she greets the other woman, "Why hello, you must be who I’ve sent for?” Mina waved over to a stone bench that sat underneath the large tree, “Please, Sit with me.”
Mina sat neatly as she turned her legs to the side and placing her fists within her lap, a smile still appearing on her lips, “Now, what may I call you?”

[googlefont="Oswald"][googlefont="Allura"][googlefont="Abel"] CLEVER GOT ME THIS FAR then tricky got me in Atalya had been smart enough to not come as herself. Her red hair and heterochromatic eyes were a dead give away even in a crowd. She'd prefer that less people knew what she truly looked like, so she had chosen something plain. With a round face, and round eyes she wasn't pretty nor ugly. She was just dull looking. It all fit together with the mousy brown hair and eyes. The only thing that might distinguish this face was the slightly too upturned nose and pitched brows, but there were other girls that looked like this with the same obvious features, but she doubted people would remember them or the boring face. It was exactly what she wanted. It made it all that easier to be forgotten or to sink away into a crowd unnoticed. When the carriage drew up, she glanced over at it. Her gaze focusing on the woman that stepped out. She was, well, she was beautiful in every sense of the word. Lush lips, high cheek bones, almond shaped eyes, all framed by a wash of dark hair. The old gods and the new had clearly shined on her. The green gown was also fitting and seemed to hug her in all the right places as she moved, and without even trying the woman made her feel drab and under dressed. She was only wearing a pair of pants, a tunic, and a rough leather jerkin. It was about all she had, but she felt that she needed more to meet with this woman or at least stand up straighter. She could feel herself pulling back her shoulder before fidgeting with the still wet mop of hair. Whomever her client was, she was not some low born. "I am," she said as she followed Mina's lead and came to sit on the other end of the stone bench. One leg thrown over the other, and her arms folded in front of her chest. What name did she give? Her real name wasn't common or uncommon per say, but it was obvious she couldn't use her true last name. "Atalya," she paused for a moment, "Snow if you require a last name." She turned her head to look over at Mina. On closer inspection, the woman was even more stunning up close. There was just something about her that drew Atalya's attention in, and she wondered if all nobles in the south bred for looks. "I would know the nature of your request," it wasn't a question or an order. She needed to know exactly what Mina wanted her to do before she could say yes or no to it. The faceless were known to be selective. Often, they would aid those that actually needed them before those that were killing someone for a petty cause. That didn't mean they wouldn't take the job. Oh, no, no, no. It just meant that there was a much higher price to pay one that most might not be willing to pay. She had only ever known a few of those sorts of requests. They were thankfully infrequent, but they still happened from time to time. She only hoped Mina's request wasn't of that nature. She didn't seem like the type of person you'd want to cross which was the very reason Atalya had shown up on disguise.

Mina, Meeting, Atalya Snow lyrics @ Lana Del Rey. notes – Here you go words - 650ish
In the Land of Gods and Monsters I was an Angel
Mina watched as the woman came to sit next to her on the stone bench, a kind smile was kept on her face to ensure that this was indeed a peaceful meeting. The dark-haired beauty smiled as she learned the woman’s name was Atalya, but her eyebrows rose in the mentioning of the bastard surname of Snow, and it only made her wonder whose daughter she was meeting with. Probably a discussion for another time, though Mina commented neatly, “Awe, a bastard of the North, why am I not yet surprised.” Honestly, a bastard was probably the best kind of person for the job Mina was looking for someone to take because it takes anger, it takes vindication, and it takes ruthlessness. A bastard is all of those things, probably being angry is the number one common trait among them. “Fear not Atalya, you will not be judged by your last name, not on this day or any day in my presence,” Mina smiled assuring as she placed a hand on Atalya’s hands, “I can assure you, the South is much different from the North, and I will keep my promise, once you keep your own,” Mina pulled away with a clever grin, “If I enlist you as my help.”
Mina has plans on top of other plans, and she has contacts from all over, though she has not yet reached anyone from the North as a contact. Atalya Snow would be her first and it is crucial to Mina that she keeps her in her circle, therefore spreading her contacts all the way towards the North, which is beneficial for the Tyrells and the Redwynes. Mina is far past intelligent, she is a crafty woman and plans ahead, just in case her plan prior does not work out she will have something to fall upon as cushion, so if meeting here with Atalya doesn’t work out, then she will have the woman killed and she move on with her life. Now, judging by the history of the faceless ones, killing Atalya will not be an easy feat, so making allies out of the bastard will probably be her best bet.
Mina spoke on the matters of why the two women were meeting today, which was something she counting on the moment she heard of the faceless one. “Aw, the reason to our meeting here,” Mina looked over to the side to see a flower fully bloomed, and Mina plucked it from the ground to smell it, still looking at Atalya when she does it. Mina spoke, “This flower smells delightful, have a waft for yourself,” Mina said as she handed the flower over to the bastard woman. Mina watched Atalya with the flower and spoke, “Flowers are such beautiful things, even when they are plucked from their roots, they still retain their beauty,” Mina continued, “Though, soon, the flower will lose its life, its virgin colors slowly fading, almost as if it is suffocating to death,” Mina said as she politely took the flower back from Atalya.
“Life is not a sure promise Atalya, even the most beautiful do not have the right for eternal life,” Mina continued in her cryptic message, “I want you to serve me as death.” Mina said spoke strongly, almost angrily, her entire mood shifting dangerously, “I want you to be the poison that slowly kills the most beautiful of flowers….Though I only want you to save one flower, and that is my son Horas.” Mina said as she held the flower in her hand gently, “You will be compensated greatly, once my son is safe out of King’s Landing, from the prisons the Lannisters keep him in.”

[googlefont="Oswald"][googlefont="Allura"][googlefont="Abel"] CLEVER GOT ME THIS FAR then tricky got me in Only smiling when the woman said she wasn't surprised by her being a bastard of the north, she settled down onto the stone bench prepared to listen to what the woman had to say. She didn't care whether she was judged by her last name or not. Honestly, she wasn't truly a bastard of the north. She had a family. One that was from a noble house, but she had left it behind. In truth, she had no last name, but those of Westeros often expected a last name. It was easier to call herself a bastard then have them wonder who she was and how she had gotten here. Her gaze flickered to the woman's hand when it was placed over her own before looking back up at her face. The woman was clearly one who knew how to work people. She took that into note as she gave a smile back letting it look genuine when it was anything but. Inside, she was taking note of her client. She liked to know who she was dealing with. It was best to never let her guard down even if it appeared to be. She looked relaxed talking to the woman. Pleasant, even. The cogs were already turning. Although she didn't care who this woman was, the information she was undoubtedly going to give her would be sensitive. Not having a name didn't make her safe. It just made it easier for her to cut ties if she didn't want to take the deal or couldn't complete it for some reason. Faceless usually always got their mark though no matter what. Tipping her head, she listened to all that Mina had to say only moving when she offered the flower out to her. She turned it politely between her fingers before handing it back. The petals had been soft between her fingers. She didn't often sit around and take stock of all the beauty around her. Flowers wilted and died just like people did. Although Mina's message had been cryptic, she understood it's message perhaps better then anyone else. The House of Black and White wasn't just a house that served the Many Faced God, but one that followed his orders to take the lives of those that needed to meet death's embrace. It was more often then not that she was the one that plucked the flower from it's stem and snuffed it's light out. "You do know that infiltrating the keep, no less the dungeons is no easy feat," she said slowly. Her attention drifting elsewhere for a moment as a bird swooped down and landed no far from them. "It can be done, I assure you, but there will be a price for it." Even if Mina said she would be compensated, she had to wonder if the woman really knew how much it would cost. "Is it just your son you need freed? No other request?" she asked pensively. It was a strange request. It wasn't often that someone was asked to be saved rather then be killed. Generally those who sought out the faceless asked for death, not life. That would cost Mina more not to mention having to get into the dungeons were the son was no doubt being kept. If she was caught, well...
