FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
♔ Can characters die on this forum? If so, what happens to them/do they come back?
- As stated in our Rules, yes, characters can die on this forum. It is Game of Thrones, after all. That being said, do not kill someone's character unless the two of you have discussed a storyline and have agreed upon it. If it's a canon character, you must also discuss it with a staff member. Whenever they die - they stay dead, and the person who played them must then choose another character. For more information on this, read over the Death section in our Rules again - found HERE.
♔ What size pictures do I use for the mini-profile, and how do I add the links/music?
- Any questions concerning the mini-profile can be found in our guide where we give a detailed explanation of how to set up your mini-profile. This can be found HERE.
♔ How many characters can you play on this forum?
- Members may play a total of FIVE characters on this forum. Three of those characters may be major canons, one perhaps a minor canon but if so, the last one must be an Original Character. Staff may play a total of SIX characters, four of which can be major canons. Staff does include Advertisers but only if the Advertiser(s) are active in their position. Meaning that they advertise at least twice per week and actively keep up with the Link Backs. If you wish to audition for a second character, your first character must have at least 50 posts and for a Third you must have a total of 100 posts, for a Fourth you will need 150 and for a Fifth you'll need at least 200 combined posts.
♔ I don't have anyone to role play with in my current location, what do I do?
- These things will happen. The world of Game of Thrones is large, so there will be times whenever characters do not have someone to role play with. Whenever this happens there are a few options. You can role play in the past, which sometimes allows for you to have more options, or you can possibly have your character travel. Keep in mind that you still must stay in character for this to happen. That being said, it is an AU forum, so if you can think of a good reason for the character to travel that actually makes sense, then you are absolutely allowed to do that. Please contact Sansa Stark if this situation arises, just to be certain. We have added a new feature now that allows one more option. You may now participate in our 'Freestyle Role Play'- Found HERE. Make sure you read the 'Freestyle Role Play Information' thread before you start.
♔ What about wars/armies? How do those work on this forum?
- Later on in our Plot we do intend for the actual war for the throne to happen. This is something that has been building up since the beginning of the series. As it is an AU forum, there are several different outcomes for this. If you're interested in seeing which armies/troops are controlled by whom - you can visit our 'Claims of War' thread - found HERE.
